Further Tribute to Peter from the following OSB:

          Anthony Dearden (FS 62-66).

“That is very sad news. I was Peter’s private fag on Foundation South, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guy. Very laid back, never criticised me, unlike some of the prefects, and was very undemanding. He also had a sense of humour which I very much appreciated. Whilst fagging is not a subject talked about today, if you were a private fag then you were excused the duties of a general fag, which involved answering the call of ‘fag’ by any prefect, usually the last one arriving getting the job: tea fags who made and cooked the teas for the prefects and serving it in their studies etc. So, Peter saved me from all that hardship by choosing me instead of many others, for which I am grateful.
I admired him greatly and followed his rugby career after he left St Bees. He was a great guy.”
